Graduate Program in Balkan and Eastern Mediterranean Archaeology

 

 

MA program fees cover four weeks of fieldwork (accommodation, food, and other expenses) organized by the Balkan Heritage field school-program (https://www.bhfieldschool.org) in addition to tuition.

 

MA program tuition fees do not cover the flights to and from Bulgaria as well as transportation from Sofia to the place where fieldwork will take place.

 

Students have to cover the accommodation and food costs during the four weeks lab work session in Sofia. However the graduate Program Board will be happy to help with any practical question and with the organization of the stay in Sofia.   

 

PhD degree fees cover the supervision of a PhD thesis. Fieldwork costs are not included. Fieldwork and other activities during the PhD degree are highly individual and depend on the PhD thesis topic.
